Behaviour Design Workshop in UK

Changing people’s behaviour is not guesswork. More than 95% of our decisions happen automatically, shaped by habits, emotions, and small design choices. Our Behaviour Design Workshop, led by behaviour change consultants Ben Laumann and Sebastian Flack, shows you how to use these facts in a clear and practical way.

In this workshop, you will discover simple ideas from behavioural science that have helped companies raise staff engagement, strengthen teamwork, and improve everyday habits. Ben and Sebastian share real stories, clear step-by-step methods, and evidence from well-known studies to show how human behaviour truly works. You will see how small changes — in the way something is designed, the words we choose, or the environment around us — can create a powerful and lasting difference.

This workshop is designed for teams, leaders, designers, and anyone who wants to make positive behaviour change in the real world. You will leave with practical skills, ready-to-use templates, and the confidence to design behaviour with purpose, care, and heart.

Healthcare — London
Staff engagement

Increasing staff engagement at a UK healthcare organisation

Challenge: Low participation in important internal training; staff said they were “too busy”.
Using behaviour design we analysed friction points, decision steps and emotional triggers. Instead of long reminders, we redesigned the journey with short nudges, shorter sessions and visible social proof. Managers were trained to support the change.
+38% attendance
Completion rates: doubled — within 8 weeks
“Easy, encouraging, and respectful of their time.”
Retail — UK
E-commerce conversions

Helping a retail brand improve online conversions

Challenge: High basket abandonment — customers dropped off before purchase.
In workshops we mapped barriers in checkout and tested small changes: clearer delivery info, fewer steps, reassurance messages and choice-architecture nudges. Product copy was reframed using simplicity, certainty and social proof.
+24% completed orders
Measured in one month after applying changes
“More confident and less confusing.”
Manufacturing — UK
Safety compliance

Improving safety compliance in a manufacturing company

Challenge: Rules and posters weren’t changing behaviour; mistakes kept happening at predictable moments.
We redesigned the environment: checklists at decision points, concise visible messages, leaders modelling correct actions, and small recognition rewards to reinforce the behaviour.
+45% compliance
Three months after implementation — fewer safety incidents
“Simpler, clearer, and more supportive.”
